Cakehead were preparing to launch as a wholesale business when the global pandemic hit in 2020. Suddenly a brand that was built to sell to coffee shops, cafes and delis had to pivot to selling direct to customers online, and do the delivering too.

Working with branding agency Almighty, in a matter of weeks we had defined the Cakehead misson into ‘Bringing Joy Throught Cake’, developing a fun and playful tone of voice to go with the “Cakeout’ sub-brand for their new (and super succesful it turns out) delivery service.
